Report cards will be going home:
Friday, November 7th.
This year the Archdiocese of Detroit has developed a unified report card. Keeping this in mind, there will be classes on the report card that are not offered at Bishop Kelley. These will be left blank.
The first and second grade report card is interim as they are developing a more comprehensive standards-based report card. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Many hands make light work!
Our Reflective Garden between the two wings of the school was in serious need of sprucing up. But between Our Seventh Graders supervised by Mrs. Yaros and several hard working parent-volunteers, it has been transformed into the beautiful, peaceful oasis that you see . Thank you for all the hard work. It is a testament to the generosity of our parents and teachers.
BKCS Now Part of NJHS
Bishop Kelley Catholic School is now a member of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). The NJHS recognizes and promotes the qualities of scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship.
NJHS is open to seventh and eighth grade students only. However, it is great for students to think about these qualities if they are interested in becoming a future member. As a group, the students will be participating in activities that will help our community at large as well as our BKCS family.
THANKSGIVING TABLE PRAYER
O Gracious God, we give you thanks for your overflowing generosity to us. Thank you
for the blessings of the food we eat and especially for this feast today. Thank you for
our home and family and friends, especially for the presence of those gathered here.
Thank you for our health, our work and our play. Please send help to those who are
hungry, alone, sick and suffering war and violence. Open our hearts to your love. We
ask your blessing through Christ your son. Amen.
