13th Annual BKS Walk-a-thon

The walk-a-thon was a huge success!

A woman was walking the Rowden Park loop the same time our children were walking the Walk-a-thon last week. She is an avid walker and must have passed our group at least three times. This week a parent ran into this lady at Meijer. She stopped the parent purposely to tell her that her family was not wasting their money at Bishop Kelley as the students she had passed and encountered were some of the nicest kids she had met! Or course, the proud parent agreed and was very touched.

The t-shirt design	There was rain early morning, but by walk time, the sun was shining on the students. They walked through town, on park paths and ended with play and a picnic.
